Learning about food and drinks is super important because everyone eats and drinks every day! Plus, itās a great way to talk with people about favorite meals, restaurants, and even recipes in English!

Food Vocabulary

- Manzana = Apple ā “I like red apples.”
- Banana = Banana ā “Bananas are yellow.”

Meals of the Day
In English, we talk about three main meals in a day:

- Breakfast ā The first meal of the day.
Example: āI eat cereal and drink milk for breakfast.ā - Lunch ā The meal you eat in the middle of the day.
Example: āI have a sandwich and juice for lunch.ā - Dinner ā The last meal of the day, usually eaten in the evening.
Example: āFor dinner, we eat pasta.ā
Talking About Tastes
When you talk about food, you can use adjectives to describe how it tastes. Here are some you can use:

- Dulce = Sweet
Example: “Cake is sweet.” - Agrio = Sour
Example: “Lemons are sour.” - Salado = Salty
Example: “Chips are salty.” - Amargo = Bitter
Example: “Coffee is bitter.”
