Learning goals: OG.CS.3. Understand the individual-society dynamics, through the analysis of the relationships between people, events, historical and geographical processes in space-time, in order to understand patterns of change, permanence, and continuity of the different social phenomena and their consequences.

Learning activities: Students will know about The Jutland battle and its consquences, they also will learn about the reason that EEUU declared war on Germany. Learning by doing: Students will write a letter to someone they love, they will simulate they are living in trenches, after that students will feel how soldiers felt about those times. Student will have a companion and they will express their thoughts about sth the are fed up with. This excercise is an introduction to the class about all of the citizens in Europe and their strikes against the war. Students will learn about Bolsheviks and the Russian revolution
