Learning goals:
Students will explore the use of AI for script generation, understand its application in storytelling, and create their own short scripts with AI assistance.

Learning activities:

Session 1: Introduction to AI Scriptwriting

Opening Discussion (15 mins):
Introduce the concept of using AI for scriptwriting and its significance in digital arts.

Understanding AI Language Models (20 mins):
Explain the basics of AI language models. Show examples of AI-generated scripts and discuss their characteristics.

Exploration and Demo (25 mins):
Demonstrate using an AI language model to generate text. Show students how to interact with the AI tool and generate sample scripts.

Activity – AI Script Generation (40 mins):
Instruct students to use the AI tool to generate a short script. Allow them to explore different prompts and genres to create diverse outputs.

Session 2:
Script Refinement and DiscussionReview of AI-Generated Scripts (20 mins):
Have students share their AI-generated scripts within small groups. Discuss the strengths, weaknesses, and variations in outputs based on different prompts.
