Learning activities:
The “Body in Harmony” project aims to create a television show that educates and entertains the audience about different body systems, necessary care, common diseases, and available treatments. This show will be designed for a broad audience, with an emphasis on scientific outreach and learning the English language

Project Phases:

1. Research and Development (Biology):

   – Students will delve into each assigned body system (digestive, excretory, respiratory, circulatory, and skeletal) in-depth.

   – They will research common diseases associated with each system and available treatments.

   – Detailed presentations will be prepared to share with their peers.

2. Show Script (English B1, B2, C1):

   – Students will use the grammatical structures and vocabulary learned in English B1 and B2 to write the show’s script.

   – They will focus on the continuous presentation of information (present continuous), the use of modal verbs to express possibility and necessity, and the construction of simple future sentences.

   – Tag questions and conditionals will be integrated into the script to encourage active audience participation.

3. Show Production:

   – Students will work in teams to produce show episodes, focusing on one body system per episode.

   – They will incorporate educational segments, interviews with health experts, and entertainment related to the highlighted body system.

   – English presentation skills will be used to communicate information clearly and effectively.

4. Presentation and Evaluation:

   – The show episodes will be presented in a special session where the quality of scientific information, fluency in English presentation, and audience participation will be evaluated.

   – Interaction among students will be encouraged, and debates on the presented topics will be conducted.

Final Product:

A television show titled “Body in Harmony” that not only provides in-depth knowledge about different body systems, diseases, and treatments but also emphasizes the crucial role of physical activity in maintaining overall health. The final product will feature episodes showcasing exercises, healthy habits, and expert advice on physical well-being. This comprehensive approach will contribute to the audience’s understanding of the interconnectedness of body systems and the importance of a holistic approach to health.
