VOCABULARY
- Sunny: Bright and clear weather with sunshine.
- Example: “It is a sunny day today.”
- Cloudy: Covered with clouds, but no precipitation.
- Example: “The sky is cloudy this afternoon.”
- Rainy: Weather with rain.
- Example: “Itās going to be rainy tomorrow.”
- Stormy: Weather with storms, including thunder and lightning.
- Example: “The weather forecast predicts stormy conditions tonight.”
- Snowy: Weather with snowfall.
- Example: “We had a snowy weekend.”
Activities
Activity 1: Weather Vocabulary Matching (20 minutes)
Objective: Reinforce vocabulary through matching terms with their definitions or images.
Instructions:
- Preparation: You will receive cards with weather terms.
- Pair Work: You will work in pairs to match the terms with their correct definitions or images.
- Review: Go through the matches as a class and correct any mistakes.

Weather Forecast:
- Today:

Weather Warnings or Alerts:

Closing:

Advanced Vocabulary and Contextual Use
- Drizzle: Light rain.
- Example: “Itās just a drizzle, not heavy rain.”
- Blizzard: Severe snowstorm with strong winds.
- Example: “A blizzard is expected tonight.”
- Heatwave: Prolonged period of excessively hot weather.
- Example: “We are experiencing a heatwave this week.”
- Humid: High moisture level in the air.
- Example: “The weather is hot and humid.”
- Foggy: Low visibility due to fog.
- Example: “The road is foggy, drive carefully.”
Activity
