An insight into the digestive system, organs and functions.

Learning goals:
1.- Identify and describe the major organs of the digestive system, including the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.
2.- Utilize artistic and creative elements to enhance the visual appeal and clarity of the representation.
3.- Investigate and describe the step-by-step process of digestion, from ingestion to the elimination of waste.
4.- Establish connections between the anatomical features of the digestive system and their functional significance.

Learning activities:
In this project, students will create a model of the digestive system to illustrate the process of digestion in the human body. This hands-on activity will utilize materials that allow students to demonstrate the sequential stages of digestion using syringes and other items.
Begin by labeling the different components of the digestive system (stomach, small intestine, large intestine, etc.) using markers or labels. Add colored water or food coloring to the containers to represent various digestive fluids and enzymes. Demonstrate the movement of the mixture (food and digestive fluids) through the digestive system by using syringes to mimic peristalsis.
