Learning activities:
Scenario-Based Role Play: Teacher is going to create various emergency scenarios (e.g., a simulated car accident, a person experiencing difficulty breathing) and have students work in pairs to assess the situation, make decisions using the 4 C’s, and apply DRABC as necessary.
Problem-Solving Challenge: Teacher is going to present complex scenarios that require creative problem-solving. Students work in teams to brainstorm and implement effective first aid strategies.
First Aid Kit Assembly: Students are going to research and create a list of items needed in a basic first aid kit. Then, in groups, they assemble their own kits using the provided list. Discuss the importance of each item.
