The Light/Visible Spectrum/Colors

Learning goals:
Explain how light travels in a straight line and at a constant speed in a vacuum.

Describe the visible spectrum and identify the range of wavelengths that make up visible light.

Explain how the colors of visible light correspond to different wavelengths, from violet to red.
Explore how the eye’s photoreceptor cells (rods and cones) are responsible for color vision.

Learning by doing.
