2. Identify common barriers to accurate reading.
3. Practice techniques to improve their reading accuracy.

Learning activities:
Pick a book we can read together.
Ask a friend and tell him to stop you every time you :
(1) Skip a word.
(2) Read a word incorrectly or change the word order.
(3) Ignore a diacritic or some punctuation that calls for a pause or an inflection. It would be good to do this for at least ten minutes on two or three occasions.

Adaptaciones curriculares:
– Juan Bodero. Give book “La culpa es de la vaca”. Let him choose a story for him to practice his reading. Sit down with him and a classmate for the first paragraph to see how they correct each other.
