Learning goals:
Describe the structure, composition, and temperature of Earth’s atmosphere.
Describe the ozone layer and its significance to life on Earth.
Describe the origin of Earth’s atmosphere and how it has changed over geologic time.
Describe how living organisms (both human and nonhuman) have changed Earth’s atmosphere and how changes in the atmosphere affect conditions for life on Earth.
Discuss the consequences of ozone depletion in the atmosphere and how humans can protect the ozone layer.

Clase Magistral sobre la atmosfera y sus capaz, en adición los estudiantes realizarán una worksheet para reforzar lo aprendido. El lunes son olimpiadas, así que solo se trabajará el miércoles con ellos.

Learning by doing: Los estudiantes resolveràn un pequeño worksheet para reforzar conocimiento, en compañia de un Kahoot.
Tambièn veràn un episodio de los simpsons, titulados el Cometa de Bart, para comprender los fenómenos astronómicos y el efecto que tiene la atmosfera en estos cuerpos celestes cuando intenta penetrarla. Se desarrollaràn preguntas al respecto.

Learning by doing: Los estudiantes aprenderán sobre la ionosfera, para ellos encenderán una llama y le añadirán sulfato de cobre y observarán lo que sucede.
Problem solved learning: Los estudiantes verán un episodio de Futurama llamada Crimes of the Hot. Donde aprenderán acerca del efecto invernadero, como combatirlo y en base a ellos responderán preguntas de un documento.

Learning by doing: Los estudiantes aprenderán acerca del efecto invernadero, al medir la temperatura de dos botellas expuestas al sol, en la cual una tendrá la composición normal de aire en el ambiente, y a la otra se le añadirá dioxido de carbono por medio de una reacción, y así aprendan la influencia de este gas en el aumento de la temperatura de nuestro planeta.
Primera evaluación escrita sobre meteorología, capas de la atmósfera, y efecto invernadero.
