O.CS.4.3. Establish the characteristics of planet Earth, its formation, the location of the continents, oceans and seas, through the use of cartographic tools that allow to determine its importance in the management of resources and the prevention of natural disasters.

Learning activities:
4hrs: Students will learn about Hierarchy and Balance of continents and the influence they receive from others for example influence in America from Europe. Ss will learn how to read maps: * Identifying capitals, identifying main cities, rivers , seas , feet and meters in distances between cities in the same country. Ss will learn about Flattening the Sphere from the world. Ss will learn about latitude and longitude.

Project based Learning: ss will make a puzzle each student will make parts of continents then they will join it with tape or glue and they will put the oceans, countries and main cities. This gigiant puzzle will be useful for next classes in order to add climates and more. Learning by doing: *Ss will bring an orange to simulate the world then they will splash to simulate why mapmakers face challengings making flat maps when the world is round. * Ss will bring a Measuring tape.
