Learning goals: O.CS.2.3.Identify, differentiate and describe the geographical, political, administrative, economic and social characteristics of the province using cartographic tools, to strengthen its local identity and function in the natural and social environment; considering possible natural risks and safety, prevention and control measures.

Learning activities: Learning by doing-Journal Writing: Students will keep journals as if they were explorers during their voyages. These journals can include reflections on discoveries, interactions with indigenous people, challenges faced, and personal thoughts about the journey. Students will write a paragraph of 15 lines in their notebooks. Artifacts and Navigation Tools: Students will know about navigation tools used during that era, such as astrolabes, compasses, or maps. They will create replicas or models of these tools, showcasing their importance in exploration.
Students will learn about the motivation of western european countries to explore the world. They will recognize the countries that belong western Europe.
