Learning goals:
By the end of this class students are going to be able to:
- Students should be able to distinguish between countable and uncountable nouns.
- Students should learn when to use “a” and when to use “an” before nouns.
- Students should grasp the usage of “some” in positive statements and affirmative sentences.
- They should understand the use of “any” in questions, negative statements, and with plural countable nouns.
- Students should practice identifying countable and uncountable nouns in a variety of contexts.
- Students should be able to apply their knowledge in spoken and written communication.

Learning activities:
Grammatical Pictionary: Teacher will organize a Pictionary game where students draw images representing countable and uncountable nouns, and others must guess what they are. This helps reinforce the association between the word and its grammatical nature.
Role-Playing with Menus: Students are going to practice the use of “some” and “any” by role-playing as waiters and customers in a simulated restaurant. They should place orders using the appropriate terms.
Noun Treasure Hunt: Teacher is going to organize a virtual treasure hunt. Provide students with a list of countable and uncountable nouns, and have them search for examples in the environment. For each noun found, students earn points.
