Unit 4: MASTERY PHASE

Students work in teams. The teacher creates 5 stations around the classroom. Each station represents one communication skill from the video.

Teams rotate every 2–3 minutes and complete mini challenges to “unlock” the next station.

Stations

Station 1 — Reading Radar

Students skim a short text and find:

• the main idea
• one important detail

Station 2 — Email Rescue

Students fix 3 mistakes in a short informal email.

Station 3 — Listening Detectives

Students listen to a very short audio/news clip and identify:

• who is speaking
• the main topic

Station 4 — Photo Flash

Students describe one image in 20 seconds.

Station 5 — Global Citizenship Mission

Students suggest one action that could improve their school or community.

At the end, teams receive a “Global Communicator” score based on teamwork, participation, and communication.
